I really mean that. One of the best parts of running Dallas Urban Review is the conversations that start after a post goes live. Whether you've got a tip about a new development in Deep Ellum, spotted something I got wrong in last week's piece on transit, or just want to say hello, I want to hear from you.
People usually reach out for a few reasons. You might have a question about zoning changes or historic preservation rules that I didn't cover fully. Maybe you caught a factual error (it happens, and I appreciate corrections more than you know). Or you've got a suggestion for a story I should look into, something happening in your neighborhood that the big papers miss. And yes, I do accept guest contributions from writers who know Dallas and have something grounded to say about how this city is changing. Just send me a brief pitch with a sample of your writing.
The best way to reach our editorial team is by email. Write to the editors at the address listed on our site (the one that starts with hello at dallasurbanreview dot com). I personally read every message that comes in, though I can't always reply the same day.
Give me two or three business days to get back to you. If you haven't heard from me by then, feel free to nudge. I'd rather get a follow-up than lose your note in the shuffle.
